Welcome to the UUCP Instant Church Directory
The directory is an online password protected site by which (only!) members/friends can access to look up information—names, email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers—about folks in the UUCP community. Even photos of families can be viewed, a feature sure to help us become acquainted with others that was not available with the paper printed directories. There is also a free mobile app available for download at the Apple® App store in iTunes®, Google Play™ store and the Amazon Fire App Store. Simply search for “Instant Church Directory” to get the download.
Only the site administrator and an appointed editor can enter email addresses and edit the entire directory, using their personal email addresses and passwords. Members and friends whose emails have already been entered can then create their individual login passwords to view the directory and gain the ability to edit their directory information but nothing else. How to Be Included In (or Opt Out) of the Online Directory
1. Download the Instant Church Directory at the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or the Kindle Fire Store. This is a convenient way to access the directory, but you can also simply go to the directory home website: https://www.instantchurchdirectory.com/.
2. Your email address has already been entered in the directory. Now use the app or a browser to go to the website to create your personal login.
3. Log in and edit your family information. Note that there are two areas: (1) Under Family Details verify and edit your home address and any shared telephone numbers and emails. (2) Under Edit Family enter information for each family member, including yourself. For each family member, enter their personal phone and email address. The phone and emails also show under family information with the family member name automatically added in parentheses for each family member.
4. Once you’ve logged in and verified/edited your information, in edit mode please upload a family photo to the site. An administrator or editor will review the photo for inclusion as part of the security process.
We hope that all members and friends of the UUCP choose to be listed in the directory, but let us know if you choose not to enroll and your email address will be deleted. Another option if you have concerns about security is to ask the administrator to have your email address kept hidden; you still have directory access but no one can see your email address.
