Yellow House Memories
Goodbye Yellow House
There once was a building that stood at 414 E Second Street in Moscow, Idaho, next door to the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse. Pained bright yellow, this house was home to the religious exploration classes of the church for over 30 years and saw generations of children explore and grow within her walls. It was also a place for community gatherings. Girl scouts, board meetings of various nonprofits, Family Promise, and others used her spaces to make our world a better place. In 2020/2021 the church began an expansion project that will create spaces that will better serve the congregation and the community, and the Yellow House was demolished. Here are her memories from those who lives she touched through the years.
