Serving our Community
Religious Exploration
Religious Exploration at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse is a cooperative program relying on the assistance of a volunteer committee, volunteer teachers, and other volunteer helpers. You may find you enjoy teaching, preparing classrooms, preparing lesson materials, cleaning up, being on the RE committee, or keeping the Yellow house organized. Please contact contact our DLRE Ginger Yoder if you have a desire to contribute. Opportunities come up year around. We appreciate everyone who contributes to the Religious exploration program!
Family Promise
The UUCP is hosting Family Promise for two consecutive months to assist another host church with their schedule. This partnership is vital because many local families currently rely on Family Promise for food and shelter while transitioning to permanent housing.
We need volunteers to help with setting up and taking down bedrooms, preparing meals, and staying overnight. We are grateful to be joined by two wards from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who will cover three nights each week.
Please check your calendar and sign up for a shift using the link below:

Sunday Morning Hospitality – Fellowship Hour
Join the congregation in the church basement for coffee, tea, and fellowship following the Sunday morning service on the main floor. Sunday service starts at 10:00 a.m. and usually ends by 11:15 a.m., and Fellowship Time starts then and goes on for as long as people want to stay and chat. Help Wanted! Your assistance in helping set up and clean up before and after Sunday Fellowship would be greatly appreciated! Please use the signup link below. You’ll be taken to a site where you can choose what day(s) you can help. Thanks!
