High School

High Schoolers are welcome to attend the service on Sunday mornings. There is also programs that support their social, spiritual, and moral development as they become more able to hold the complexities of the world in their minds. Our main aim is to help them find a true sense of self and community in our world

Coming of Age for grades 10-12

Coming of Age is a program aimed at supporting our older teens in developing their own identity, belief systems and foundations of faith. There will be rituals, development of credo statements and a connection with adult members in the congregation to guide each teen on their way to adulthood.  We do this program on a rotating basis every few years.

Our Whole Lives 10-12th Grade

Our Whole Lives is our lifespan sexuality program which is divided into age appropriate groups and lessons. Our high school level of OWL equips older teens with the skills to navigate relationships, consent, and the complexities of sexuality at this age. This program is offered every three years.

High School Youth Group 9th -12th Grade

Meeting monthly our youth group focuses on various UU values and how to live them in our lives. From community building game nights to social action projects our teens get to become leaders of their own faith and learning in this group. Camp Blue Boat

The only Unitarian Universalist Camp in the west, each summer our middle and high school teens have the chance to attend a weeklong sleep-away camp grounded in UU values. This program is truly life- changing and life-affirming. Contact Ginger for more information and next year’s dates. Full and partial scholarships provided.
