The biggest event of the year is coming soon!
UUCP’s Service Auction will be Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6:00-8:30 pm at the 1912 Center, so save the date. If you’ve never attended, it’s an extraordinarily fun event and one of our best fundraisers—last year we raised $20,000!
While the service auction itself is an excellent opportunity to socialize with fellow UU’s, it also provides an opportunity to participate in other social events. Last year some of the events up for bid were formal, themed dinners; an evening at the Pie Safe Bakery; apple cider pressing; a scrabble party; and a Poe-Tea. Live auction items included a cabin on Lake Coeur d’Alene, a sailing trip for two, and the opportunity to plan a sermon with Elizabeth.
Participants have an opportunity to eat appetizers and snacks, drink wine, and indulge on pay-by-the-piece desserts while listening to some of our own talented musicians.
But we need your help preparing for it. Please consider helping any of the following ways and let Sarah Quallen know what you are willing to do email@example.com:
Love to perform? If you have something you’d like to perform or if you’d like to plan the entertainment, let Sarah know.
Donate wine—in the past we’ve had members donate all of our wine so that we could drink for free. We no longer have that donation but we want to keep the wine free to attendants. Sign-up genius here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0C44ACAF2CA7FA7-2019
