The Men’s group is organizing 1 additional postcard-writing sessions on September 16th. In September will meet in 3rd floor library. All materials will be provided. We are working with the Center for Common Ground: Reclaim Our Vote Campaign, a campaign that focuses on increasing black voter turnout. We use their postcards and they prescribe the message precisely, and it should be clearly written, but they strongly encourage colorful, eye-catching writing. Postcards will be held by us and mailed October 5-13, the best timing for that election. For further information, contact Duane DeTemple or Pat Fuerst.
You can also take-Home Postcards and write them at home. On top of the coat rack is a box labeled “Post Cards for Georgia”. Take an envelope home with you. Each envelope has instructions and supplies you need to write ten postcards. When finished, return the postcards to the box labeled “Returned Postcards”.
