Stressful situations are not new to our times; indeed, the ancients learned ways to cope long ago. This service will reach back to explore the insights and narratives of Greek and Roman Stoics along with the Book of Job. Two members of the Shared Worship Team will provide some context to understand how people in the ancient world coped with adversity and how we can apply their wisdom to the troubles of our times.
