Programming for our middle and high schoolers is a mix of social activities, games, outdoor adventures and antiracism work through the book “This Book is Antiracist” by Tiffany Jewell. All meetups are done within current Covid protocols. A copy of the book is available for free. Contact Ginger Yoder or Ryan Urie for more information. Here are our upcoming plans for Youth Group:

April 4: Easter Celebrations! It is customary for our youth to hide the canned goods for our younger kiddos to find. Come directly at noon to take part in this fun annual event followed by treats and other crafts.

April 11: This Book Is Anti-Racist through Chapter 16 from 12:30-1:30. Please note different time, we will begin 30 minutes later than usual.

April 18: Bread and Bowls. Wild at Art, Bloom Café, Oak on Main and some generous donors have come together to create a special project for our community called Bread and Bowls. Mirroring past Empty Bowl initiatives on the Palouse and elsewhere, Wild at Art provides ceramic bowls hand painted by local community members to families receiving meals donated by area restaurants, food banks and other community-minded organizations. We will be painting bowls for this project today along with the rest of the community.

April 25: PCEI Environmental Service Project. We will be engaging in a volunteer work day project to help support PCEI.
