The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse is one of a group of Moscow and Pullman churches that shelters homeless families through Family Promise of the Palouse. Families stay with us four times as year as they move through the Family Promise program. We use our church Yellow House to give homeless families a home for a week, providing evening meals and companionship. Volunteers are needed to set up and take down for each week stay and provide suppers for the families. Volunteers also stay overnight on beds set up in the Yellow House.
If you would like to be a part of this important community program, contact the church for the date of our next Family Promise hosting week and how you can volunteer.
