This Week in Religious Exploration
This Sunday is our annual Bridging / Wheel of Life service where we honor the transitions of our children and youth. We were going to have this be an all ages service but the youth will be having a separate bridging June 2nd 4-6 pm at the church (please come!) and thus we will be holding full RE classes. Here is what our children will be working on this Sunday:
Spirit Play (prek-K): “Roses Garden” Hear the story a girl who uses her determination and faith to make her corner of the world a bit more beautiful, pulling together the strength of the community.
Spirit Play (Grades 1-3): “Flower Communion” Hear the true story of the first flower communion and then participate in our own mini-version of it in class.
Grades 4-8: “Flower Communion” Hear the true story of the first flower communion and then participate in our own mini-version of it in class.
High School: We will have our last class June 2 and participate in the bridging ceremony at church, 4-6 pm.
