We welcome and affirm people of all abilities. We have taken the following steps to assure that no one is excluded from full participation in the life of our church.

Mobility

Our sanctuary and fellowship hall and restrooms are accessible to those using wheelchairs or having limited mobility. We are working toward accessibility in our religious education classrooms and Yellow House building, of which only the main floor is currently accessible.

Sight

Large print hymnals are available. Please ask any usher for assistance. If you would like an orientation tour of the campus during the week, contact the church office to make arrangements.

Hearing

We have eight digital assistive listening devices with headphones hanging up on the right as you enter the sanctuary. If you have any difficulty with one of these, please notify one of us: Pat Fuerst, Rod Sprague, or Jon Anderson. We want this system working for everyone!

If you would like to listen to the service outside the sanctuary, if you have restless children for example, you may use one of our five “satellite” speakers: one in the foyer, one in the room upstairs above the sanctuary, and three downstairs: Rev. Elizabeth’s office, the kitchen and the south wall of the main room. There is an on/off switch and volume control device attached to each speaker

Chemical Sensitivity

We take care to use odorless or low-odor cleaning materials and building materials.

Special Needs Children

If you want your child to participate in the religious education program and feel that they may require special accommodation due to learning disabilities, needing behavioral support, or have food restrictions or needs, please contact the Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration, Ginger Allen, in advance so the best possible arrangements can be made.

Pastoral Care

We provide pastoral care to all members regardless of ability.  If you have a hidden disability that you think it’s important for someone to know, please contact a member of the pastoral care team or contact the minister to share your information in confidence.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in our buildings and services.  We have grassy areas where service animals may relieve themselves.

If you have any questions not answered or concerns not addressed, please contact the church office to seek further information.
