UUCP - Muslim Community Annual Picnic

The annual Muslim-UUCP picnic this year will be held in Klemgard County Park ten miles north of Pullman Washington at 1:30 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2008. The Muslim community is hosting, and UUCP are providing desserts. More information and a map link will be posted later.

Water Communion and Ingathering

Today UUCP returns to having two services each Sunday.

1st service 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Fellowship in church basement 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
2nd service 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All Rivers Return to the Sea
Today, if you like, bring water that you may have collected from your summer travels or that has some other significant association for you. We will also have water available on a table in the sanctuary.

Moscow Conversation Cafe meets 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2000, in Book People of Moscow, a book shop located on Main Street between 6th and 5th.

All are welcome to come participate in a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.

Myth, Metaphor and Meaning: An Artist’s Pilgrimage
An installation artist, Gerri Sayler returned to college to earn a BFA in studio art, graduating in May 2007. Little did she know that her art studies would morph into a joyful and profound sacred journey. She will describe how her art fused with myth and metaphor to emerge as a celebration of the cycles of nature, and more importantly, of being truly alive in this world.
